We're a fully remote team of people passionate about creativity, spread across 10+ countries, founded in the midst of the pandemic! The team has been working monumentally hard on creating everything you see here, and hope you would be as excited as us to join this journey.

We built designstripe to give the tools to create beautiful illustrations (and eventually designs, templates, photos, animations and more!) to everyone, regardless of design skills or experience. We've built a wonderfully simple online editor to allow for easy customization, as well as created our own growing library of hand-created illustrations, all of which are completely customizable online, in just a few clicks.

And ultimately, we know that by equipping people with the best tools to create beautiful, diverse and inclusive work, we empower their boundless creative prowess. We said prowess, and we’ll say it again.🤣

 

What we're looking for 👀

We're looking for a 3D Mockup Artist/Modeller to join our team for a freelance position (project-based, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours/week based on needs and availability).

Do you have a 3D background with great attention to detail? Do you get immense satisfaction from creating creative work? Apply to participate in the behind-the-scenes work of building a unique creative tool!

You'll be working with our Studio team, including our Director of Studio & Creative Production, Studio Coordinator & Visual Lead Designer, to ensure that your 3D work is smoothly integrated.

 

Responsibilities 😎

🖼️ Studio

• You will support the team to create mockups like we have here: https://designstripe.com/mockups/
• Model and render high-quality 3D assets based on creative direction given by designstripe team
• Share work in progress via PNG screenshots, when approved you are able to package and prepare files for submission in Blender and/or OBJ formats
• Follow production pipeline that has been set by the team to ensure smooth collaboration as you create assets

 

Qualifications ✅

• Passionate about 3D, design and architecture
• Previous experience with 3D mockup projects
• Proficient in Blender/Cinema 4D. Using Octane Render is Plus.
• Ideally you are proficient in product rendering, architectural (billboard, building, mural), clothing (t-shirts, jackets). However we are open to work with all levels of talent
• Able to use textures appropriately so 3D models look realistic and polished
• (OPTIONAL) Coding skill that can help with production flow
• You're fluent in written English and conversant in spoken English
• You're great at working methodically in a remote environment and meeting deadlines
• You're an empathetic teammate (cultural sensitivity) and have great communication skills
• You're open to feedback & have a desire to evolve, grow, and improve
• You have a good general understanding of web technologies
